Mages and Archers can hide behind rocks and other covers and therefore defeat the harder monsters easily.
Once the player acquires the skill of mining good enough to mine coal and admanite, they can go to a safe mining field a little distance to the east away from Lumbridge. The mine will be to the south of the ocean.
To get the skull easily without fighting the skeleton, the player can get the skull before the 'restless ghost' mission. The skull is present in the dungeon of the wizard tower.

42. The rune rock lies in the north west. If the player goes
slightly to the east, they will find spiders guarding the only
blue rune rock in the game.
To get the Rune Rock, the player should go north to Falador and past the mine. Once the player reaches the lava, go north past the Lesser Demons and right. The Rune Rock can be found in the wilderness only at level 45.
There are some Christmas and Easter centric easter eggs present in the game. For example, players will get a Santa hat if they kill high level monsters like Ice Giants on December 25.
Killing all monsters in a level on Christmas day will give random Christmas Crackers. Killing a monster during Easter will give Easter Ears
